Last year's second annual fundraising gala – An Evening in India – took place on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 7:00PM and 6:00PM for VIP at Michael’s On East in Sarasota, located at 1212 S. East Avenue.
This special event featured delicious Indian cuisine, amazing performances and a full bar for all to enjoy, all while shining a spotlight on the positive impact of our organization. Just like our first major fundraising celebration, in 2017’s An Evening in India event was a wonderful also a success, as we extended the reach of Share Care Global and funding its programs and initiatives and delivered life-changing assistance to those in need.
In the 2018 event, we set our sights on an exciting new horizon with our latest project. Aptly named “My Home,” the vision was focused on helping up to 10 young women from troubled homes by providing a safe, stable and secure place to live. This is not an orphanage or foster care, but a way to give these girls the support and motivation they need to grow, become strong independent women, and reach their fullest potential.
